As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are considered the best iPhones for photography due to their advanced camera systems. The Pro Max version, in particular, features a superior optical zoom capability compared to the Pro model. Both devices offer improvements in low-light performance, computational photography features like Night mode, Photonic Engine, and various video recording capabilities, including ProRes video.
